The e-scooter is rented to the Renter for personal, non-commercial use only. The rental period begins when the e-scooter is unlocked and ends when it is parked at a designated curbside location and locked again.
The Renter must be at least [age, e.g. 18 years or older] and possess a valid government-issued ID and driving license if required by local laws. The Renter agrees to follow all local traffic rules and safety regulations.
The e-scooter must only be used on permitted roads and pathways. Riding under the influence of alcohol, drugs, or any impairing substances is strictly prohibited. The Renter is responsible for the safe operation of the e-scooter at all times.
The Renter agrees to pay all applicable rental, usage, and other fees as listed on the Company’s app or website. Additional charges may apply for overtime use, damages, or violations.
The Company may hold a security deposit or authorization on the Renter’s payment method to cover potential damages or non-compliance.
The Renter agrees to inspect the e-scooter before use and report any visible damage or malfunction. The Renter is responsible for any loss, theft, or damage resulting from negligence or misuse.
The Renter assumes all risk while operating the e-scooter. The Company is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or property damage incurred during the rental period unless caused by equipment malfunction.
The Company reserves the right to terminate the rental at any time if the Renter violates the terms of this Agreement or applicable local laws.
The Renter’s personal information will be handled in accordance with the Company’s privacy policy.
This Agreement shall be governed by the laws of [Your jurisdiction], and any disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts. By unlocking the e-scooter, the Renter acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
